We are delighted you are interested in participating in our Summer CSA where you will receive a weekly produce delivery of locally grown fruits/vegetables. This program will run for 4 weeks starting the last week of June when produce is plentiful in our area. The cost of the program is $10/week ($40 total to be paid up front). This in addition to funds from the Obici Healthcare Foundation Farm2Childcare grant will cover the produce and logistics to get it close by for you to pick up.
We encourage family childcare providers as well as the parents of your program to sign-up.
Upon receiving your order form and payment of $40. You will be contacted as of the site for pick up that is closest to you. We hope that these fresh produce items will be used in conversation and on the menu at the childcare program and hopefully the children’s homes by including parents in this opportunity. One bag/box should provide enough for a 5-child family childcare home or a family of 4/5.
This is the first program in the area to link the farmers to the Family Childcare programs and parents of preschoolers. We hope to make this a successful program with your help and support!
