Employer Financial Assistance Fund Administration
The Planning Council serves as an unbiased third party contracted to review applications, determine eligibility, and distribute financial assistance to staff of the following employers that are experiencing a catastrophic financial loss or hardship through no fault of their own:
City of Chesapeake – Chesapeake Employee Hardship Relief Program (CEHRP)
Sentara – HOPE (Helping Overcome Personal Emergency) Fund
If you are an employee of the City of Chesapeake or Sentara and are experiencing a catastrophic financial loss or hardship through no fault of your own, please contact your employer. The Planning Council’s sole responsibility is to administer the funds.
