Employee Spotlight - Lisa Wilkins

This is the smile that greets you at the door of The Planning Council and that you will find on the other side of a phone call. This is the smile of Lisa Wilkins, our General Services Administrator. Lisa has been bringing her magnetic personality to TPC for the past 28 years. She is so magnetic that she secured her place at TPC after four days of serving as a temp.

Lisa spends her work hours greeting and assisting every client and service provider in person or via phone, executing outbound and inbound mail, package, and fax deliveries, restocking office supplies and paper products, ensuring staff is recognized for their birthdays and anniversaries, managing any maintenance issues that may arise, supporting the various programs as needed, and more.

Lisa is a people person, and it is her pleasure to do what she can to brighten anyone’s day, whether it be by offering a listening ear, providing hope and encouragement, showing others she cares, or being the best person she can be to help others in need. Her affable character is further evidenced by her ability to work well with each and every staff member that has crossed TPC’s path throughout the duration of her employment. Lisa will be the first to welcome new employees to the “family.”

Besides the TPC family, Lisa has great love for her nuclear family – two sons, one daughter, and one “grandman.” When Lisa is not giving her all and helping others, she likes to read romantic novels, cook, bake cakes, listen to music, and dance. She can finish a book in one day and can blaze up a dance floor. Speaking of blaze, did you know…Lisa’s name on her birth certificate is actually Blaze!

It is easy to see the value in Lisa, so let’s give her our appreciation for the person she is and the impact she makes!
