Long Time Executive Director Jean Canoles Bruce Dies at 95

September 1, 2022. Leaving her own company in good hands, Jean Canoles Bruce landed at The Planning Council, eventually becoming its Executive Director. For the next 25 years, she was focused on linking people in need to a variety of human services organizations, improving the quality of life in Tidewater. Her work embodied her commitment to helping others. Jean will be missed.
